Photos of Soderhamn, Sweden taken in 1918 - 1922 by Gustav Sahlin... A few color pictures are mixed in with his photos that were taken by me in 2002, when Martha & I visited Soderhamn. My great-grandfather, Jacob Jakobsson, was a stone mason who worked on building the “Oscarsborg Tower” in 1893-94, which is the most prominent landmark in town. Gustav Sahlin was my mother’s uncle. My grandfather (Alfred Jacobson’s) sister married Gustav Sahlin who died in 1957.
