We took a trip to Norway in June 2002 to tour the country with our good Norwegian friends (of 45 years). So we had some “expert” tour guides. As part of our trip planning, we jointly developed a day-by-day itinerary document for the trip. That document, updated with actual pictures from the trip, formed the basis for these web pages. We covered a great deal of the Norwegian West & Northern coast, both by car, ferry boat and Coastal Express (cruise ship). We drove back from far northern Norway (Kirkenes) thru Finland and Sweden, visiting Stockholm for three days and then back to Asker (suburb of Oslo) before returning to Boston…. The trip cover over 5000 km by car and 1000 km by ferry and Coastal Express ship.
